Sharing Stories, Shaping a Nation
The third day of the Restorative Practice Conference, "Singapore - A Restorative Nation", is a pivotal moment in our journey toward building a more inclusive, compassionate, and restorative society. Through listening, sharing, and understanding, we can foster connections that transcend backgrounds and experiences.
“Circles of Life” will bring together practitioners and individuals with lived experiences to foster connections that transcend backgrounds and experiences.
Let us focus on the heart of Singapore's transformative spirit—the power of shared stories and collective hope.

Stories of Resilience, Healing and Hope
We invite all attendees to come together in smaller groups of 12 to 20 participants, each circle acting as a microcosm of our broader community.
Within these circles, we will hear stories shared by those who have lived through different walks of life - from education, community, and those who have navigated the challenges of incarceration and rehabilitation.

Storytelling Circles
In intimate circles, participants will participate in storytelling circles. We will hear and share deeply personal stories of resilience, healing, and hope. These stories reflect the diverse journeys of individuals from different walks of life and who have navigated challenges in education, community-building, and of incarceration and rehabilitation.
Participants will be allocated to join Storytelling Circles:
Session 1 [10am – 11.30am] or
Session 2 [1pm – 2.30pm]
Join Us As a Storyteller
We invite individuals with lived experiences who are willing to share their personal journeys and perspectives in a storytelling circle.
Be it as an individual or through your organisation, we welcome you to be a part of this meaningful conversation.
Activities On The Day
Connection Spaces
Beyond learning, we hope that participants will have the opportunity to to experience storytelling in an experiential way and act on what they have received.
With these connection spaces, we hope to offer hands-on opportunities for participants to engage and interact meaningfully.
Participants will be able to join one of the three connection spaces in either
Session 1 [10am – 11.30am] or
Session 2 [1pm – 2.30pm].
This will be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Circle of
Mutuality
Collaboration with
WalkWithYou
To walk with someone is not to lead or to follow. We move side by side, adjusting our pace to another's, listening as much as we speak, and recognising that we are shaped by the people we choose to share life with.
For SG60, WWY invites all who call Singapore home to share stories of staying present with another.

Circle of
Witnessing
Facilitated by
LCCS
What burdens do we carry for ourselves, for each other, for the community?
Join LCCS in a series of grounding and symbolic art activity and conversations using rocks to name and witness the weight of habits, burdens, and hopes.

Circle of
Sustainability
Collaboration with
Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre
Our guides from Tzu Chi Foundation will bring you on an experience to understand what it takes to practise sustainability and guide you to stop, look, and listen to your surroundings and within.
Slow down to see the beauty of human nature in true stories, and listen to the true voices of the world.
